1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Huskify Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Huskify – Appointment Booking integration within our Shopify application.

2. Google API Data Usage

When a merchant connects their Google Calendar to our app, we request access via Google OAuth scopes to manage calendar events

  • How we use the data: Our app’s sole purpose for accessing your Google Calendar is to automatically create and sync events when a customer completes a booking on your Shopify store. This allows you to view and manage your store’s bookings directly from your Google Calendar.
  • What we do NOT do: * We do not read, store, or share your existing personal or business calendar events.
    • We do not use your calendar data for marketing, advertising, or profiling purposes.
    • We do not store any data retrieved from your Google Calendar on our servers.

3. Limited Use Disclosure

Huskify Booking Calendar’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • We only transfer data to third parties if it is necessary to provide or improve the booking features of the app and with your explicit consent.
  • We do not use your Google user data to train AI models or for any purpose other than your specific booking management.

4. Data Security & Retention

We prioritize the security of your connection. We use secure OAuth tokens to communicate with Google. Since we do not save your personal calendar data, there is no retention of your private events on our end. We only keep a record of the specific events our app created so that we can update or remove them if a customer changes their booking.

5. Control and Revocation

You may revoke Huskify’s access to your Google Calendar at any time by:

  1. Disconnecting the calendar within the Huskify App settings.
  2. Removing permissions via your Google Account Security Settings.
